DESCRIPTION:Online and free of charge Workshop \nLanguage has an immense impact on everyone. It is not only the tool to express our inner self\, but also defines how we think and act. \nDiscriminatory language at the workplace is a severe problem that many companies and employees struggle with. Not only does it hurt and exclude the addressed person\, but can also poison the work environment and create an imbalance of power. \nThis Workshop will offer all participants a safe space in which they can share their experiences\, reflect on this topic and learn new ways to deal with discriminatory language\, especially in the workplace. \nThe following questions will be answered: \n\nWhat is discriminatory language?\nHow can I detect it?\nWhat can I do to counteract?\n\nThis workshop is for everyone who wants to broaden and self-reflect their perspective on this topic as well as to learn methods to counteract. \nThe endgoal of ‚Non-Discriminatory language at work – How to prevent and how to counteract‘ and the project DeWorks is to promote a democratic\, safe and inclusive working environment for everyone. \n  \nWhen: 16.
