Who needs Possible – and why?

The project Possible is designed for “formally low-qualified“ women with migration experience who have an increased need for support.

🎯 These can be women without formal vocational qualifications as well as women with educational qualifications and long periods of unemployment or with employment in Germany that does not match their qualifications.

🎯 Some are unsuccessful in using their qualifications or years of work experience gained abroad in the Berlin labour market.

🎯 Lack of language practice or lack of other basic skills increases the need for support. Support can be provided in the form of social and professional networks, intensive and sometimes individual support.

🎯 Knowledge about available qualifications and activities, peer learning and additional support on the topic of balancing family and career are essential for many women.

Possible aims to activate participants for the job market through cooperation agreements with job centers and employment agencies. The range of personal counselling and group workshops aims to enable participants to realize their potential on the Berlin job market.

The Possible project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Union via the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) as part of the MY TURN programme.
